These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CoCart mobile application (iOS and Android) and related services, features, and content (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Saif Abu Eideh ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account, accessing, or using CoCart, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. About CoCart
CoCart is a shopping and grocery list management application that allows users to create, manage, and share lists, upload related images (such as item and profile images), and access certain features through free and subscription-based plans.
We may update, improve, remove, or modify features at any time.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
By using CoCart, you represent and warrant that:
- you are at least 18 years old;
- you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms; and
- your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
4. Accounts and Access
To use certain features, you may need to create an account (including by signing in with Apple or Google).
You agree to:
- provide accurate and up-to-date information;
- keep your account credentials secure;
- be responsible for activity that occurs under your account; and
- notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, or restrict access to the Service, if we believe a user has violated these Terms, misused the Service, or created risk or legal exposure for us or others.
5. User Content
A. Your Content
You may upload, create, store, or share content through the Service, including:
- list items and list content,
- names and profile information,
- avatar/profile images,
- item images,
- and other content you choose to submit ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the rights you grant to us in these Terms.
B. License You Grant to Us
By uploading or submitting User Content to CoCart, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable (subject to technical and legal limitations), sublicensable license to:
- host,
- store,
- reproduce,
- process,
- transmit,
- display,
- and otherwise use your User Content
solely as necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and provide the Service (including collaborative list sharing, syncing, backups, moderation/safety, and technical support).
C. Shared Lists and Visibility
If you use shared/collaborative list features, your User Content may be visible to other users you invite or collaborate with, including your name, avatar, list items, and images shared in that context.
You are responsible for what you upload and share with others through the Service.
D. Responsibility for User Content
You represent and warrant that:
- you own your User Content or have the necessary rights/permissions to upload and share it;
- your User Content does not violate applicable law;
- your User Content does not infringe the rights of others (including privacy, intellectual property, or publicity rights).
We may remove or restrict User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any law or regulation;
- harass, threaten, abuse, or harm others;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
- upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content;
- interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security or operation of the Service;
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code (except where prohibited by applicable law);
- scrape, copy, or systematically collect data from the Service without authorization;
- infringe intellectual property or other rights;
- use the Service for fraud, deceptive conduct, or unlawful activities.
We may investigate violations and take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of access.
7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds
A. Free and Paid Features
CoCart may offer both free and subscription-based features.
B. App Store Billing
If you purchase a subscription through the Service, billing is processed by:
- Apple App Store (iOS), and/or
- Google Play (Android)
We do not directly process or store your payment card details.
C. RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to help manage subscription status, entitlements, and purchase-related functionality.
D. Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date in accordance with your Apple App Store or Google Play settings and terms.
E. Managing and Canceling Subscriptions
You are responsible for managing, changing, or canceling subscriptions through your Apple/Google account settings and the applicable app store billing controls.
F. Pricing Changes
We may change subscription plans or pricing in the future. Any changes will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the policies of Apple/Google.
G. Refunds
Refunds are generally governed by Apple App Store and Google Play policies. You may contact us for assistance, and we may review requests on a case-by-case basis, subject to platform/provider capabilities and applicable policies.
8. Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, including for maintenance, upgrades, security, or operational reasons.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
A. By You
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also delete your account through in-app account deletion (subject to applicable retention and legal obligations).
B. By Us
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service if:
- you violate these Terms;
- we suspect fraud, abuse, illegal activity, or security risks;
- required by law or regulatory request;
- or necessary to protect the Service, users, or our rights.
C. Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Certain provisions of these Terms will continue to apply after termination, including provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, code, design, layout, features, branding, trademarks, logos, and other content (excluding User Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, lawful use.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or exploit the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
11. Third-Party Services and Platforms
The Service may rely on or integrate with third-party services and platforms, including Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Expo, Novu, Sentry, Cloudflare, Hetzner, Neon, Amazon Web Services, app stores, and other infrastructure providers.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, or policies.
For iOS users, Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content, support, maintenance, or claims relating to the Service, except as required under applicable law.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure;
- defects will be corrected;
- the Service will meet your expectations or requirements;
- content or information presented through the Service will be accurate, complete, or reliable.
You use the Service at your own risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
- the amount you paid us (if any) for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or
- USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Saif Abu Eideh from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- your use or misuse of the Service;
- your User Content;
- your violation of these Terms;
- your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
15. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share information.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Jordan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Jordan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
17. Export / Sanctions Compliance
You agree not to use, export, re-export, or transfer the Service in violation of applicable export control or sanctions laws and regulations.
You represent that you are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.
18. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, infrastructure failures, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, labor disputes, government actions, or failures of third-party providers.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may provide notice by updating the "Last Updated" date, posting the updated Terms in the app or on relevant pages, and/or by other reasonable means.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
20. General Terms
A. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
B. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
C. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented to you for specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
D. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
E. Language
These Terms are provided in English. If translated into another language, the English version will control in the event of any conflict, to the extent permitted by law.
